Civilization, originally created by Sid Meier the legendary video game designer, is a turn-based strategy game where your goal is to build an empire that will stand the test of time. Civilization VI offers new ways to interact with your world: cities now physically expand on the map, active research of technology and culture unlocks new possibilities, and leaders act according to their historical traits as you try to achieve victory from one of the five possible ways.

EXPANSIVE EMPIRES

See the wonders of your empire across the map like never before. Each city spans multiple squares, allowing you to customize cities and make the most of the terrain.

ACTIVE INVESTIGATION

Unlock upgrades to speed up your civilization's progress throughout the story. To advance faster, actively use your units to explore, develop the environment and discover new cultures.

DYNAMIC DIPLOMACY

Throughout the game, interactions with other civilizations change. At the beginning, violent conflicts predominate, and towards the end, negotiations and alliances predominate.

COMBINED WEAPONS

To extend the "one unit per space" feature, support units can now be combined with other units, such as an anti-tank unit with infantry or a warrior with settlers. You can also combine similar units to create the powerful ""Corps"" units.

EXPANDED MULTIPLAYER

In addition to traditional multiplayer modes, cooperate and compete with your friends in a wide variety of situations designed to be completed in a single session.

CIVILIZATION FOR ALL PLAYERS

Civilization VI offers veteran players new ways to build and upgrade their civilization to increase the odds of success. Thanks to the new tutorial system, new players will easily learn the basics.
