Set in the Cold War era, the good folks at Murkoff Corporation inadvertently recruit human guinea pigs to test advanced methods of brainwashing and mind control. In a world of mistrust, fear, and violence, your morals will be challenged, your stamina tested, and your sanity crushed. All in the name of progress, science, and profit.

SURVIVE ALONE OR IN A TEAM

All of you are Murkoff prisoners, trapped within his facility. You can choose to complete the trials alone, or you can tackle them in a team of 2, 3, or 4 players.

HIDE OR FLEE

In true Outlast style, the core gameplay is all about avoiding enemies, hiding from them, and trying to run away. Murkoff will provide you with tools that you can use to increase your stealth capabilities, create opportunities to run away, slow down enemies, and much more. However, you will have to earn those tools and work hard to improve them.

CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION

Choose tools, upgrades, and perks to fully adapt to your playstyle.

Your cell is your home while you complete the therapy, you can decorate it however you want.

INVESTIGATE

The Murkoff Corporation has kidnapped you for unethical experiments that will alter your psyche and behavior throughout the Trials.

Gather documents and articles that will help you prove Murkoff's malpractice against his patients.
