Revealed: Zula World Cup Details For eSports Clubs Qualifying In Europe

IDC/Games has detailed today the steps to follow by eSports clubs in order to fight for the $100.000 grand prize. A new video presented today introduces the world tournament

Madrid, December, 1st  2017 – IDC/Games and its publishing partners worldwide announced in early November the Zula World Cup with thousands of eSports teams participating all over the world fighting for a grand prize of $100.000. Today IDC/Games is revealing a new promo video of the tournament as well as the details for Europeans eSports clubs to qualify for the final tournament in Istanbul in March 2018.

The two eSports clubs that will represent Europe will be selected in a final tournament to be celebrated on February 2018 with 8 teams. In order to get to this tournament, eSports clubs will need to win a wildcard in either the Zula Europe Pro League that is currently running and will give 2 wildcards for the top 2 teams and another 6 wild cards will be given in the Zula Europe Pro League World Tournament Edition to the top 6 teams among many other prizes such several thousand euro in cash.

After a classical league system with all teams playing each other, a final play off will be held in both leagues with 8 top teams playing a classical round of 8, semi finals and grand finale to decide the winner. Teams that already obtained a wildcard in the previous league will not be accounted towards final wildcards given for the eight top teams.
